For the last three months I have been thinking about ” being a disciple” of Jesus! To me it comes down to the fact that being a true disciple is to become like Him. Not be Him but like Him. A disciple is basically a follower with dedication/determination. Doesn’t go to the right or left if his master wouldn’t do that. The daily challenge is the choice to do the same as your master under all circumstances. I’d like to challenge you to chew on the passage in romans 9:3. If I am literally to understand this, it goes up to a degree where Paul would consider to be separated from his master for the sake of the rest of God’s nation. What a love! What a passion! Will I ever come even close to this?

Right now, I don’t think so.

 

 

I wouldn’t give up my chance to be with Jesus for anyone? Am I self-centered? on this particular subject, yes?
